Tom Hardy’s most anticipated Venom’s teaser trailer released. At first, almost all the Marvel fans wanted to see alien Symbiotic in Venom figure. But looks like Sony tricked us by only introducing Eddie Broke’s badass character.
Even if its true that we are getting Spider-Man’s arch-enemy standalone movie, hence in the teaser only 1-2 seconds appearance of Venom’s first look could be enough.
And that’s the thing most of the fans didn’t like it. Over a social media, fans stating their opinions about Venom’s first official trailer which seems a discouraging little bit.
The Venom trailer is a product of the internet getting mad about how trailers spoil too much these days, but then when they change the formula and don’t spoil the plot, etc. what does the internet do? Get pissed off. Because guess what? No pleasing the internet. ?

I just saw a tweet saying VENOM would bomb and I’m very confused.
2) It’s a fucking teaser trailer, the hell did you expect? 1 minute and 30 seconds of Venom actually doing shit?
3) Remember TASM’s teaser trailer? Showed Spider-Man’s face for 1 second.

When you realize Venom isn't in the Venom trailer. pic.twitter.com/3Ywb473T3a

Just saw the Venom trailer. The trailer would have been god tier if they showed Tom Hardy as Venom. I'm so hyped tho. My fav actor playing one of my favorite characters.

So that #Venom trailer kinda sucked.
How can you tease the movie without showing the character?
GG Sony… You deserve to be sold at this point.

If it's too early to even show a single shot of the title character in your trailer… maybe just don't release a trailer? #Venom

Not showing Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) as Venom in the first #Venom trailer is a bold move. Not sure Sony has the goodwill with their Marvel properties, like Disney/Marvel Studios does, to be secretive with trailers. https://t.co/YNPpwI0gvI

I know we're all upset that there wasn't even a tease of #Venom in the trailer. But before we get to CGI can we discuss that dialogue. Did you feel inspired by, "We all have our own problems, our own issues."

I don't appreciate Hollywood using the fact that I'll go see any movie with Tom Hardy against me. #Venom

But you know, true fans and most of the critics find the trailer pure genius.
According to Forbes, it’s a teaser trailer, not a full-length movie trailer. It’s straight that we didn’t get to see Tom’s post-transformation as Venom, but the trailer does reveal how the alien symbiote arrived on earth and how it was captured by the Life Foundation.
And some of the fans also agreed on that:
My personal opinion, I'm actually okay with them not revealing "Venom" so soon in the new teaser. That's why it's called a "teaser." I'm sure more is coming soon. People are sometimes too demanding. I'm trying to stay positive and looking forward to it ??

After watching the Venom teaser trailer it looks like it will be good, but I REALLY hope they keep him a bad guy.

I dunno, I don't mind that they didn't show Venom in the trailer – I feel like these days trailers and teasers or whatever kinda give away all the good parts and in the movie I'm like, "Oh hey, thats the trailer part" instead of actually enjoying it.

yall am i the only one that liked the fuckin venom trailer like i thought it was good they didnt show venom because issa TEASER trailer which did its job to tease us also they still in heavy production of the movie so they still gotta figure out the whole cgi stuff ok

Another perspective of Venom‘s teaser trailer is that Sony had done excellent marketing strategy that made a trailer a controversial subject. Hence next time when Sony unveiled Venom’s full-length trailer, I am sure Marvel fans will like it.
It’s not a big deal for us to criticize trailer but one thing we have to understand that the movie just wrapped the filming and CGI is not yet completed. Still, Sony gave us teaser too early so that our hype and our excitement would be intact.
Venom is a fan-favorite comic supervillain who is an alien symbiote live on a human host body. In the movie, it will bond with one reporter named as Eddie Broke which will grant him incredible powers.
Venom is Spider-Man biggest enemy. After bonding with Peter Parker, alien Symbiote possess nearly same powers as that of Spider-Man.
Venom will hit theaters on October 5, 2018
