‘Pokémon: Detective Pikachu’ First Teaser Released and Its Too Good

After a release of spin-off Detective Pikachu game from its Pokémon franchise, which is developed by Creatures Inc. back in March 2019, its live-action/CGI-hybrid movie is going to happen.

Warner Bros. holds the rights for the movie from the Universal and unveiled its very first teaser trailer just after we get first teaser look of Toy Story 4.

In this movie, fan favorite Pikachu will not only be talkative but also shows off his detective skills. The trailer mainly focused on two main characters, one is Tim Goodman, and another one is, of course, its Pikachu.

The movie heavily based on the Nintendo 3DS game, in which the player has to teamup with Detective Pikachu to solve mysteries. In the film, Tim is searching for his father. When he encountered Pikachu (Ryan Renolds) whose language can only be understandable by the Tim, both advanced to get Tim’s father.

Mostly fans are missing franchise’s protagonist, Ash Ketchum who is the main character as well as the Pokemon master of the anime series.

Synopsis of Pokémon: Detective Pikachu is as follow:

In the Pokémon universe, Tim Goodman (Justice Smith) is the son of prominent detective Harry Goodman and a failed Pokémon Trainer who sought to search for his missing father along with his Pokémon partner, Detective Pikachu (Ryan Reynolds). The main character of the film is the only one who can understand the Pikachu’s language, and hence they team up to find Harry and uncover the mystery surrounding his disappearance.

Directed by Rob Letterman, Pokémon: Detective Pikachu stars Ryan Reynolds as Detective Pikachu, Justice Smith as Tim Goodman, Kathryn Newton as Lucy Stevens, Ken Watanabe as Detective Yoshida, Paul Kitson as Harry Goodman, Karan Soni as Jack, Omar Chaparro as Sebastian.
