Netflix Also Canceled Marvel’s Luke Cage TV Series

Luke Cage season 3 canceled

Like Marvel’s Iron Fist which got canceled after its two seasons, Netflix has again taken such harsh decision for Luck Cage too.

Recently Netflix and Marvel announced that Luck Cage has canceled after its two seasons.

Regrettably, Marvel’s Luke Cage will not renew for a third season, Everyone at Marvel Television and Netflix is thankful for the dedicated showrunner, writers, cast & crew who created Harlem’s Hero to life for the past two seasons, and to everyone who supported the series

Unlike Danny Rand, Luck Cage character received a positive response from the fan as well as critics when he first debuts in Jessica Jones.

Hence, fans expected there should be next season for Luck Cage.

According to THR, also, another reason why Luke Cage series canceled is that of “creative differences & the inability to agree to terms for the third season.” Netflix doesn’t release viewership figures for its content.

So now Iron Fist and Luck Cage are off the page, MCU TV series includes only three shows now- Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and The Punisher.

However, in 2019, Disney company planning to launch their streaming service in which the first Marvel film will be Captain Marvel.

Hence it is expected that Disney will bring all removed Marvel characters from Netflix to run on the in-house platform when it launches.
