This year we have been blessed with some of the greatest superheroes movies like Spider-Man: Homecoming, Wonder Woman, Thor: Ragnarok and Justice League is one of them. In all of that movie, Justice League’s post-credit scene never fails to catches our attention towards the future of DCEU. There is total two important scene showing in the last of the film and one of them shows the mega entry of Deathstroke in the DCEU family.
The CW’s Deathstroke AKA Slade Wilson (Manu Bennett) is one of the best character that we have seen and his mind-blowing acting in the Arrow prove that there is no one who can replace him. But DCEU wants to make a solo movie on him which would be based on a completely different story.
The new Deathstroke has been played by Joe Manganiello who makes his very first appearance in the Post Credit scene of Justice League. The actor wears an exact outfit like his comic counterpart and two faces colored helmet as that of the comic version of him.
The last post credit scene opens on Arkham Asylum in the middle of a riot with inmates being relocated. One of guard helps to get Lex Luthor from his cell. After that, we cut to the scene where we see the boat in a bay with the clear shadow of Deathstroke. As we can see, Slade Wilson gets off onto a yacht and walks up towards the Lex. In this particular scene, it seems that Lex is aware of formation of Justice League team and that’s why he wanted to have his own ‘a league of our own’.
Comeback of Superman’s villain and Deathstroke, of course, would lead to a formation of Justice League’s rival and the team would be known as Injustice League. If you don’t know it, the Injustice League is a collection of the iconic superheroes’ arch enemies like Lex Luthor, The Joker, Cheetah, Black Mantha, Sinestro, Deathstroke, Reverse Flash and many more.
In the comics, the Injustice League is the opposite of Justice League who sworn to destroy Earth’s heroes. Definitely, Lex Luthor will have a secret goal in the formation of the League like his comics counterpart. But for its revelation, we just have to wait for the movie’s next sequel part.
Deathstroke’s next appearance could be in the next ‘The Batman’ which seems facing some serious issues in development. But for now, Lex Luthor escaped from his prison would set up a storyline for the next Man of Steel sequel which is also in development without a date. Deathstroke’s solo movie is in development with the Red Raid: Redemption director Gareth Evans.
Justice League is now showing in theatres…
