How The Flash Going To Defeat DeVoe According To Grant Gustin

Barry Allen as the Flash and Clifford DeVoe as the Thinker

The Flash Season 4 only left two more episodes to end and season’s big bad has all 12 bus metas’ superpowers which made him strongest TV series villain yet.

Clifford Devoe aka the Thinker shares similar concept as that of Avengers: Infinity War‘s Thanos who has all 6 six infinity stone and wiped out half of the universe.

But here in CW world, will Flash save everyone from the Thinker’s Enlightenment plan?

During Flash actor Grant‘s recent interview with EW, he said,

“It’s just an example of Barry being in desperation mode. I think anything that we can try that we haven’t tried, Barry is willing to try. We’re talking about the end of all of humanity as we know it. We need some kind of weapon that has no tech involved, because of DeVoe’s Kilgore powers, and Amunet fits that perfectly, so Barry’s willing to try. Iris [points out] that Barry’s always fought for every citizen in the city, because he knows that ultimately there’s good at the core of everybody, including Amunet.”

It’s obvious that Barry Allen with the help Flash team and mysterious girl will defeat DeVoe as in Future 2024, it was revealed Barry has defeated him.

However, Flash’s recent episode gave a complete look at DeVoe’s final Enlightenment Device which could wipe of memories of technology from citizens’ minds.

Hence Barry planning to use Iris’s blog to reveal DeVoe’s evil plan to warn the people about it.

Further, Gustin added,

Barry doesn’t even want Iris to divulge to the citizens what’s going on with DeVoe at first — because she wants to blog again and be a reporter, which Barry supports and knows that that’s her journey, and is happy for her that she’s kind of back on that path. But then she wants to tell everyone about DeVoe and what’s happening, and it takes Barry a second to understand why that’s a good idea, why that maybe would benefit the city

As Flash team still planning to defeat Clifford DeVoe without hurting any people and on the other hand Harry losing his intelligence day by day.

The Flash Season 4 airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on the CW.
