There are tons of superheroes and supervillains in the DC universe. In the various occasion, villains have switched their position against one superhero to another. Now this time in Arrowverse, Gorilla Grodd will return but not in the Flash TV series. He has turned his role in the upcoming season 3 of Legends of Tomorrow as a villain. But not only there is a return of Gorilla in this season but also there will be impossible returns of Damien Darhk and Leonard Snart.

The showrunner Phil Klemmer talk about their decision about bringing Grodd back in the new season,
“It will be a version of him that we have not met on any of the shows. It will be the most evolved and powerful form of Grodd. We’re actually breaking the episode now.”
Also at the TV Critics’ Association Summer Press tour 2017, Phil Klemmer told IGN that,
“At the head of whatever you want to call our evil organization, it’s different. Last year it was three characters from the three different shows that form this alliance. This is a non-human entity. This is a much more supernatural, spooky vibe this season. We’re dealing more with magic. It’s less real-world bad guys.”
Hence according to Phil, the fan will get to see DC’s comic based version of giant telepathic Gorilla who has been a villain for team Flash since the first season and this season will be more of the world of the occult and monsters rather than more science or time-travel. CW has announced at their TCA press tour panel that Grodd would make a debut again in the Legends of Tomorrow season 3 and also confirmed from Comic-Con that Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) would return as a regular. Also in this new season of LOT, Tala Ashe will take as regular role of 2042 computer wiz Zari Adrianna Tomaz who was an incarnation of DC’s Isis.Tala twitted about her joining in her twitter account,

According to Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim who talks to a group of Reporters,
“We want to give you the sense of a group like we did last year because that was a lot of fun. There’ll be a little bit more rotation, also so we can give you a little bit more of a variety.
Now Legend of Tomorrow just a two months away to release, till we will definitely get to see show’s new heroes and villains in the coming weeks.
