Day by day, we keep getting new teasers of upcoming Arrowverse Crossover Elseworlds. And now recently the CW Network released the very first promo of Batwoman.

Last month, Supergirl actress Melissa Benoist shared one picture on her Instagram account that introduces Ruby Rose’s Batwoman for the first time. Till now what we know so far about the character is that she is getting her spin-off series from Elseworlds.
With the fans already witnessed the first look at Batwoman, which is portrayed by Ruby Rose, the above promo video shows vigilante superheroine for the first time in action.
The promo teaser starts with Barry talking with a man, “You don’t believe in Batman?”. The man replied, “Batman is an urban legend“. In the last moment of footage, when Cisco and Barry Allen in Green Arrow outfit confronts unknown figures, Barry realized that “That’s not Batman“
More than ever DC fans are still waiting for Cape Crusader to make a grand entrance in Elseworlds. But sadly enough that’s not going to happen. As per reports from Entertainment Weekly, Showrunner of future Batwoman series,
Our approach is: What does Gotham City will look like after Batman left the city for three years? So if you have the law & order, protector, and hope gone, what happens as a result. Some people are rising in his absence because now they can begin to do their own thing without the failure. A lot of other people are grieving, and they’re losing faith, and the city itself and infrastructure are falling apart. So it’s not the right place. Our guys walk into a grimy, scary Gotham.
Meanwhile, if we read above interview repeatedly, it may not look like showrunner directly confirm that Batman will not return ever. He will. But it will take time. Till then, criminals of Gotham city has to deal with Batwoman in the absence of Bruce Wayne.
Arrowverse’s “Elseworlds” will premiere first through the Flash on Sunday, Dec. 9 at 8 pm ET and will continue with Arrow on next day and lastly will conclude on Tuesday, Dec. 11 at 8 pm ET.
