First Look At Gogeta From Dragon Ball Super: Broly

Finally, Gogeta appears in the short promo of Dragon Ball Super: Broly. Like Broly, it looks like Gogeta is undoubtedly becoming a canon character for the franchise.

Recently Bandai Japan unveiled one small trailer where Gogeta is battling against Legendary Broly.

Take a close look at Gogeta once again:

Even though Dragon Ball fans wanted to have Broly in the anime series, Gogeta was the most voted choice from the fans. The character first appeared in the movie Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn and later on Dragon Ball GT.

In 2018, fans indeed got to see more of Gogeta in the last episode of Super Dragon Ball Heroes as you can see from the 30 seconds footage, Gogeta seen in his two forms. First one is his Super Saiyan form, and later one is Super Saiyan Blue form.

As the trailer continuously dropping in this month; since the only couple of days are remaining until its theatrical release in Japan. Therefore it a perfect time for the film team to prompt the film as Gogeta is one of the most favorite characters of the Dragon Ball franchise.

Unlike Vegito, Gogeta fusion does not require Potara to fuse. It is a result of Fusion dance, is a technique from Metamorans race. The fusion grants Saiyans incredible power and speed. Thus, it is considered one of the strongest Dragon Ball character ever.

It’s pretty sure that Ultra Instinct won’t be easy for Goku to attain once again. But balance the storyline perfect, its a right move by Akira Toriyama to introduced most awaited character.

The film takes place after the Universe Survival Saga depicted in Dragon Ball Super. Under the tagline “the greatest enemy, Saiyan,” the film will describe the fate of series protagonist Son Goku, Vegeta, and Broly upon their first reimagined meeting, the connection of the Freeza army, and the history of the Saiyans.

Directed by Tatsuya Nagamine and Naohiro Shintani, Dragon Ball Super: Brolyproduced by Toei Animation. Akira Toriyama has taken over the places of character designs, storyline, and screenplay.

20th movie of Dragon Ball franchise, Dragon Ball Super: Broly will hit theaters December 14, 2018, in Japan and on January 16, 2019, in the US.
