Dragon Ball Super: Broly English Dub Cast Announced


FUNimation Entertainment revealed Dragon Ball Super: Broly‘s English dub casts through a new video. The list includes many returning faces as well as new cast members for new anime characters.

  • Cheelai – Erica Lindbeck
  • Lemo – Bruce Carey
  • Kikono – Sonny Franks

Finally, returning faces include below English Dub casts:

  • Goku – Sean Schemmel
  • Vegeta & Piccolo: Christopher R. Sabat
  • Jason Douglas as Beerus
  • Ian Sinclair as Whis

  • Chris Ayres as Frieza

It will be the first time Dragon Ball fans hearing Gine who is no other than Goku’s mother. As previously declared, for Broly and Paragus, Vic Mignogna and Dameon Clarke will respectively be reprising their roles for English voices. Besides Kikono, Sonny will also reprise Bardock’s English voice.

The anime movie will reintroduce comeback actors as well as new voices. These five voice actors are going to make their first ever anime debut through Dragon Ball Super: Broly film. However, Dragon Ball fans are most waiting to see roar of Broly through Vic Mignogna once again.


Now Legendary Saiyan and Gogeta making their first canonized appearance in the franchise, it increases ridiculous hype among the fans even more.

Here is the official synopsis for Dragon Ball Super: Broly:

The film takes place after the Universe Survival Saga depicted in Dragon Ball Super. Under the tagline “the greatest enemy, Saiyan,” the film will describe the fate of series protagonist Son Goku, Vegeta, and Broly upon their first reimagined meeting, the connection of the Freeza army, and the history of the Saiyans.

Directed by Tatsuya Nagamine and Naohiro Shintani, Dragon Ball Super: Broly produced by Toei Animation. Akira Toriyama has taken over the places of character designs, storyline, and screenplay.

20th movie of Dragon Ball franchise, Dragon Ball Super: Broly will hit theaters December 14, 2018, in Japan and on January 16, 2019, in the US.
