Marvel Has Shortlisted Female Directors For ‘Black Widow’

Marvel’s upcoming Black Widow movie is moving forward as there have been three shortlisted female directors’ names surfaced.

According to Deadline, Cate Shortland is the most suitable female director for the Scarlett Johansson’s standalone Black Widow. But the source also mentioned Amma Asante (Belle) and Maggie Betts (Novitiate) also in the top three list who together met with Marvel’s president Kevin Feige and Johansson.

Cate Shortland is Australian filmmaker who responsible for making Lore and Berlin Syndrome.

Black Widow is currently in development with Jac Schaeffer hired as a scriptwriter.

Black Widow aka Natasha Romanoff was first introduced in RDJ’s Iron Man 2 as a main supporting character. Since then she has been a most valuable player till latest Avengers: Infinity War. But fans are wondering how would be her life much before her introduction to MCU.

Comic book fans knew that Natasha is one of the best spy agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. along with Hawkeye. So it would be nice if they introduce his character also.

Hence, this Marvel’s Black Widow will answer all the fans doubt. Hence, fans need to have just a little patience.
