Elseworlds will bring heroes from three TV series, and that includes the Flash, Arrow, and Supergirl. It will be the first time that Superman will enter the crossover and Batwoman will star for the first time in the CW family.

From the set photos, it seems that filming for this TV event has started and Arrow star already unveiled multiple pictures over social media.

Recently Stephen posted one clear image of himself along with Grant on vigilante hood.

But really what is the exact reason and why are they switching roles?

According to Screen Rant, the answer lies in Elseworlds. The name suggests that the crossover will include multiple timelines and realities.

After seeing above leaks, fans are curious to find out the reason behind this weird transformation. But what we know so far is that Elseworlds will include Batwoman, Lois Lane, and Gotham City for the first time.

So it’s safe to assume that heroes will switch powers or they could be meets their doppelganger from another universe.

On the other hand, if you carefully look at the Elseworlds poster, you can see subtitle as “Destiny Will Be Rewritten.” Hence there are strong chances that heroes will swap their superpowers in Gotham City or any other universe.

However, we still have plenty of time until December on which Elseworlds will release its first episode through The Flash, then Arrow and lastly will conclude with Supergirl.

Arrowverse crossover “Elseworlds” will premiere first through the Flash Sunday, Dec. 9 at 8 pm ET and will continue with Arrow on next day and lastly will conclude on Tuesday, Dec. 11 at 8 pm ET.
