Over the years, Arrow series shows various characters death so far. And biggest controversial death was Since that there is no news for bringing her back till her evil Doppelganger from Earth-2, Black Siren who first appeared on Flash season 2. Also, showrunner confirmed that there will be no new addition to the team Arrow. This could be mean that old characters will also appear on the new season 6.

Co-Producer of Arrow Wendy Mericle gives little hint about Laurel Lance’s entry into the season 6 and she said,

“I don’t know If there’s any question about whether or not the idea of redemption will come up; it has to. Her father is there. Oliver is there. Everyone is going to be asking whether or not it’s possible to find a little piece of Laurel, the Laurel Lance they knew and loved, in there somewhere.”

According to Katie Cassidy, she announced her character will be regular for Arrow season 6, so we get to see her more than the season 5. At the start when she enters into the season 5, the team didn’t know how to react with Black Siren (Katie Cassidy). This new season will explore her dark past which turns her into a villain.

During San Diego Comic-Con panel, Katie was present in the panel and talk about her character with CB that the new season will reveal more about her history in the coming months,

“Yes! I think the more we learn backstory and what her relationship was like with Oliver, absolutely,”

She further added,

“I think it will make sense in the end and not necessarily make her as bad of a person. You might be like ‘Oh, Okay that makes sense.’ Yes, I do think we’ll know more.”

Katie also believes the character is more than a villain that fans can relate to and further said,

“Yes, I do think there’s a chance at redemption for her. I think there will be people who understand when she has the opportunities and once we learn what she’s gone through, why she is the way that she is. I think people will be able to relate to it, have sympathy for her. I think there’s chance at really helping her get back to who she is at her core and potentially not be so crazy and have a good side to her, but I think as time goes on we’ll learn that.”

So from this conversation, one thing is sure that Black Siren will change into a good person in future and join the team, not as a Black Canary. We already have one, Drake getting her own costume in the season 6. So she will be the Metahuman with canary cry superpowers.”
